About Me

Hello! I am Maya Simone Bostick, a graduating senior, psychology major at Spelman College. I was born and raised in Washington, DC, and I have a passion for holistic health/wellness, mental health, child development, women development, and dance. Currently, the skills I have are communication, interpersonal, intrapersonal, empathy, helping people, teaching and course design, time management, instructing, and customer service. My ultimate goal is to be a philanthropist giving back to inner-city children for higher education and entrepreneurs because I value community. Short-term I want to make an impact on my next steps after college. No matter what company I work for, I strive to make a difference and strengthen my networking skills. I value collaboration, as well. I love working on a team. In all, strive to be a profitable entrepreneur valuing authenticity and humility. I have a myriad of purposes, such as strength and professional development coaching, owning my wellness center, and having my own non-profit for children from non-binary households. I love mentorship, and one of my value propositions is that "to whom much is given much is required" Luke 12:46. Thus, my non-profit will aim to teach students that they have no limitations in life. I love meeting new people, dancing, eating, laughing, and creating memories.
