A Lifetime of Creations

Philosophy Statement: Welcome

I work to make an impact. Anything that I set my mind to, it gets done. So I work to get it done. I work to make a change and for that change to be evident and to enhance any situation or problem that was initially in place. Work is in place to satisfy and stimulate our minds and self to fulfill the purpose we have in life. Work relates to individuals because that is what we all individually do. However, most jobs require those to work with others to enhance and better society in some way. Excellent and worthwhile work is in alignment and helps the fulfillment of one’s purpose. Money is just compensation to what you do for work because, without payment, survival in the world is tough. We do different “jobs” for the experience, to grasp necessary transferable skills to grow. When you are equipped with skills and grow into the, you are supposed to be. God will then send you to the work you were placed on this earth to do. Thus, this is my work view philosophy.

About Me- Philosophy

I feel profoundly engaged and purposeful in my current internship with a local entrepreneur. In this internship, I am a digital marketing specialist and social media manager. I am in charge of overseeing analytics and basing our marketing plans and content due to the analytics. I also create content found on the data and utilize my creativity to enhance her brand and increase her reach. My a-ha, a moment from this internship showed me that I love when the idea of beautification, creativity, and autonomy work together. I had these same feelings of engagement when I have the creative independence to organize the grade books and come up with lesson plans at Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy. Also, as a current podcast producer from another entrepreneur, I can give my input on the topics and ideas for each episode. I believe in creative freedom and expression for the betterment of someone’s brand and life.

I admire anybody in the field of helping people. I respect life coaches, ministers, churches, groups who uplift the community, groups who care about the well-being of the city, and groups who promote unity in the community. These groups have challenged my thinking. These groups taught me to use my mind for analytical questions and always to ask why. To think about the more profound meaning and purpose in life while also understanding that it is more significant than me, and the goal is much higher than I can imagine. I believe that unity is the core of all progression, and radical collaboration is key to making anything advance.
I have plenty of spaces and people who have motivated me in my life. However, reflecting on my time at Spelman, I would say Patrice Williams inspired me. Professor Williams was designing my life professor at Spelman. Her job is to aid people in life, helping them live their most fulfilling life. Professor Williams inspired me by all of the wisdom and lessons she taught me. She helps me introduce myself to myself again through introspective, reflection and ultimately teaching me ways to be an overall great human living a life that I choose to design. Now, I understand that I am the co-creator of my life, and I can prototype my way through to achieve the goals I want. Moreover, I know that the only thing that is constant in life is change,  being okay with change, and learning how to live in the flow because I believe what is for me will always be for me.

I believe in spreading love and positivity in all of the spaces I step in. I live life valuing kindness, not judging others, giving everybody grace, giving back, trust, and being present in the moment. I see myself as a positive person, an empath who cares about all people. I want everybody to live in their purpose and enjoy life. I am resilient, strong-willed, determined, and healthy. Thus, at my core, I am at peace, and I am happy.
I would change the mindset of the people in the world. The mindset about health, holistic health, mental health, about being their person, finding their purpose, and using the talent of their personality to aid the earth. In using our skills promoting unity and love with the understanding that it is enough resources in the world for everybody. I believe that if I can eradicate hate rooted competition and everybody understanding the gifts they have, then the world will be a better place.
